Pat Allen was raised in Canada. After deciding not to take the art school test in the back of a comic book, he began his days in radio in 1979, moving to the United States to pursue his broadcast career in 1981. He's been a tireless employee for Citadel Communications since 1994, first with Magic 99.5 FM, transferring to the 770 KKOB News Department in 1997.
