Frisch has been in radio since 1984 and has paid his dues. It all started in Prescott, Arizona and he really sucked back then. In 1990 Pat moved to Reno and was a country jock for five years before moving to talk radio. In 1997 he went to Las Vegas, Nevada and then to KKOB just two years later. Pat even hosted the morning show at KKOB for more than two years where it remained number one in a competitive market with 30 stations while continuing his Program Director duties.

In his free time he exercises and loves to watch his favorite baseball team, The Cubs, whenever he can. Pat's work has been recognized by the Associated Press and KKOB has been recognized six times as station of the year by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association in Pat's tenure with the station. In 2007 Pat was honored as one of the top 50 programmers in America by Radio Ink Magazine. And in 2008, Radio and Records Magazine recognized the station as one of the top performing talkers in the country. Under Pat's tenure KKOB has been nominated for six National Marconi Awards and even won Talk Station of the Year Honors in 2001 at the national convention in New Orleans.
