Broadcasting is in my blood. I got my big break back in 1983 in El Paso, Texas -- was only a junior at Burges High School. KTSM-AM-FM-TV taught me everything I know about the business. After several years there, I decided to take a photography position in Sacramento, California at KTXL-FOX-40. After almost two years in Sacto, KDBC-TV-4 lured me back to El Paso to run their news assignments desk. I later moved to New Mexico where I've been since the early 90s. Here in the Duke City, I was able to strap three Rocky Mountain Emmy-Awards under my belt during my photojournalist stint shooting feature news at KRQE. I'm now a news anchor / reporter at 770-KKOB and love it.
